Find a Teachero Mentor for your child Today

Teachero High School Mentors (ages 15-18) teach sports, arts, and academic skills to younger children (ages 5-14) and are encouraged to engage the child and parent with age-appropriate conversations around good behaviors and the importance of college readiness.

Mentors follow the Teachero Mentorship Doctrine promoting good behaviors and positive role-modeling for younger Teachero Preps. Mentors are encouraged to talk about one of the Teachero Ideas during each skills sharing session with the Prep.

A Teachero Mentor in your community can be selected by signing up on the Teachero App.  A Teachero Mentor can spend up to 4 hours a week sharing an athletic skill with a younger Prep while role modeling good behaviors and college readiness.

Parents of younger children purchase hourly credits toward skills sharing sessions for their child and Teachero in turn pays the Mentor for time well spent. (Price per credit hour varies by geographic location.)

Skills sharing sessions can be done in person or virtually through the Teachero App.

Both parents are asked to follow the Teachero Parental Attestation requirements in order to ensure a safe and supportive interaction between the younger child and the high school mentor.

In order to ensure safety and encourage dialogue, parents are required to meet/exchange/confirm contact information at the 1st Teachero skills sharing session between the mentor and prep. From then on, each parent is required to know and agree to the time and location of each Teachero session.
