Teachero Parental/Guardian Attestation

In order to ensure parental responsibility and oversight for the interaction of children through technology or in person all Parents/Guardians and Kids who use the Teachero App agree to the Teachero Parental/Guardian Attestation and the Mentorship Doctrine. If You can not agree to these things, then please don't use the App.

Use of the Teachero App, or your child's use of the Teachero App constitutes agreement with the Teachero Parental /Guardian Attestation and Mentorship Doctrine.

Teachero Parent/Guardian Attestation 

 

As a parent or legal guardian of a registered Teachero App Mentor or Prep, You, as the Parent/Guardian of the Teachero Mentor or Prep, agree to oversee, to the best of your ability, and within reason, all interactions between your Teachero Mentor and Prep.

​

Parent/Guardian requirements include:​

​​

  • The Parents/Guardians must meet the other Teachero Mentor or Prep parent/guardian at the 1st Teachero session with a handshake or similar greeting and exchange cell phone information, email, and home address. 

​

  • The Parent/Guardian must attend and observe from the “sideline” the first  Teachero Sessions  between the Teachero Mentor and Prep until both parents are comfortable that the Teachero Sessions are safe, age appropriate, and enriching for for all.

​​

  • The Parent/Guardian must ensure arrival of the Teachero Mentor or Prep at least 5 minutes before the Teachero Session start time and departure of the Mentor or Prep within 5 minutes after the end of each Session. 

​​

  • The Parent/Guardian must make all efforts to support a safe and successful interaction between the Teachero Mentor and Prep.

​​

  • The Parent/Guardian must talk/interact/check-in with their Teachero Mentor or Prep regularly about Teachero (at least 2x/month for the duration of their program involvement.)

​

  • The Parent/Guardian must report to Teachero via email within 24 hours any Teachero session activity or interaction they believe inappropriate. 

​

Please help us ensure, first and foremost, safe interactions between children and within families through a skills sharing and good behaviors program for kids.
